Perusing the {Vege}ing listings shows you photos of the inventive plant menu items that have become a phenomenal part of the dining-out scene. These dishes are all made from things that grow from the earth and while most vegetables can safely be eaten raw, the plant diet has reached a new level in it’s preparation. The addition of creativity has made plant foods very appealing for fine dining.
The human experience is filled with pivotal moments that spawn innovations to make our lives more exciting. Over decades, vegan culinary inventions have evolved and tapped into the cravings of mainstream diners. The previously missing factors of cheeses, meats, cream sauces and decadent desserts in the vegan diet are a thing of the past. The phenomenon of plant meat using soy, wheat, and legumes has given way to creations that are not only comparable to their animal counterparts but often more desirable. I won’t be mentioning brands in this post, but I will eventually give my recommendations.
