Trio Plant-Based was founded in 2018 on a foundation of racial justice. In 2019, Louis Hunter became the sole owner of Trio, making it Minnesota’s first Black-owned 100% plant-based restaurant. With the love and support of the community, Trio continues to create unique soul food dishes.
